La Casa Di Lucio is the first “Albergo Diffuso” born in the heart of the Sassi of Matera. A unique receptive structure and unconventional, born from the recovery of a complex of historic buildings that previously formed one of the old neighborhoods of the City. The external staircases, the incredible views, the courtyards, the vaults and the caves: everything has been preserved. exactly as it was in the past, to offer guests the unmissable opportunity to experience the historic center of a of the oldest cities in the world blending in with local residents. The Hotel La Casa Di Lucio offers seven unconventional but very elegant residences, all equipped with entrances private. Each of our rooms is located in a charming complex of cave dwellings, once inhabited by families of the place and today instead finely furnished and decorated with light colors, to welcome our guests in a place with an intimate and refined atmosphere. Each room is different and is located in a unique and separate location from the heart of the hotel and the common rooms. Among these rocks, whose history is interwoven with that of the world, the comforts are the result of modernity while the furnishings alternate original period details with design pieces. The interiors also are embellished with plays of light that give volume to the ancient niches and stone arches.
