The Hotel

In 1965 two lovers, a charismatic American socialite and dashing British aviator, created a romantic hideaway in a secret cove. here was nowhere else like it, the pristine cove sheltered by rugged cliffs, the romance and spontaneity, Hollywood and high society came to relax in privacy. Our discreet Porto Ercole hideaway spills down Monte Argentario into a cove of rare beauty. Terraces dripping with bougainvillea and sea views to die for – sleeping at Il Pellicano is a dream. Beautifully firnished rooms and suites lead to a pool with incredible views of the pristine water below.
