The Hotel

Hotel Hacienda de Abajo, located on the Canary Island of La Palma, is a historic sugar plantation estate offering a blend of Old World hospitality and modern amenities. Dating back to the 1700s, the original Hacienda building welcomes guests with antique doors into 32 individually decorated guestrooms spread across four buildings surrounding a lush courtyard. Guests can enjoy private balconies with sea views, dine at the El Sitio restaurant serving Canarian dishes with international influence, and indulge in spa treatments at the Bathhouse spa. The hotel features botanical garden-like grounds, a sparkling pool, and over 1,300 art pieces from various centuries displayed throughout. As an adults-only resort, it provides a tranquil atmosphere for romantic couples, solo travelers, and groups seeking relaxation amidst the scenic backdrop of forested mountains and sea views.
