The Hotel

PortoBay Hotel Teatro is the first PortoBay Hotels & Resorts hotel in the city of Porto. This four-star themed hotel is located in the historic centre of the city, on Rua Sá da Bandeira, a few steps from the city’s main attractions including São Bento Station, Clérigos Tower, Porto Cathedral, Avenida dos Aliados, Lello Bookshop, Bolhão Market and the well-known Cais da Ribeira, the Douro riverfront. The hotel was built on the site of the former Baquet Theatre, opened in 1859. Today, the theatrical theme is very much in evidence with the hotel’s unique, refined and bohemian atmosphere. The 74 spacious rooms, divided into 5 categories, offer a contemporary, individual and comfortable feel. The hotel also has a restaurant, bar, small gym and meeting space.
