The Hotel

The Grand Hotel Victoria Concept & Spa is the newest five-star hotel on Lake Como. It is an iconic masterpiece built in 1890 that has been completely renovated while keeping the style of the 19th century. The sumptuous staircases, chandeliers and halls adorned with stuccoes and gilded friezes show the beauty of the Liberty style. The property is immersed in a garden of Mediterranean vegetation and boasts stunning views of Varenna, Bellagio and the Grigne Mountains. It consists of 81 rooms and suites, 34 of which are located in the historical wing that dates back to the 19th century, while the remaining rooms are found in the new wing that was recently built called “Il Palazzo.” Each has its own distinctive personality and have been customized down to the last detail. Guests can enjoy all that the hotel has to offer by dining at the gourmet “1827” Restaurant or enjoying the innovative and contemporary cuisine at the poolside “Don Abbondio” Bistro. At the Grand Hotel Victoria, hospitality is expressed through the kindness and warmth often forgotten elsewhere.
