The Hotel

The Grand Hotel Royal, member of Alberghi Storici d’Italia (Historic Hotels of Italy), is a five-star estate in the heart of Sorrento, perched over the sea in a privileged location overlooking the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius, surrounded by a large park boasting exotic plants, amazing camellias, orange and lemon trees. Location

Thanks to its mild climate, Sorrento has been a favourite holiday resort for everyone from all over the world. The hotel is set in an enchanting position atop a cliff, facing the sea and enjoys a privileged position just a few steps from the main square, Piazza Lauro. The hotel and the city itself are easily reachable via car, train or plane. Naples airport is only 46 km away from Sorrento, which also has a tiny port, Marina Piccola, with regular hydrofoil services to Ischia, Capri, Procida and Naples.
