The Hotel

Perched on a cliff overlooking the blue sea of the Portofino Coast, the Excelsior Palace in Rapallo is a historic 5-star luxury hotel, originally opened as Italy’s first casino at the dawn of the 20th century. Surrounded by lush hills and the sea on three sides, it offers elegant rooms and suites in classic Italian style, and the Eden Spa Fitness and Wellness, which features a sea-view gym, treatment cabins and hairdresser, an indoor pool with heated water and hydromassage area, a traditional Turkish bath, a Mediterranean essence bath, a Finnish sauna, and a soft sauna. The hotel also includes a Beach Club, open June to September, with two infinity pools and refined dining showcasing Ligurian cuisine. Its 2 bars, 2 restaurants, terraces and lounges provide unforgettable moments for cocktails, romantic dinners, or special events.
