The star-shaped building hosts 117 rooms overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and its vegetation, a Wellness and Thalassotherapy Centre, a restaurant and two meeting rooms. Of the 117 rooms, five are suites individually decorated and named after Leghorn’s famous painters. The resort offers a grotto with five sea water pools for Thalassic treatments. This ancient healing method employs all the elements of the marine environment – water, algae, mud, sand and climate and makes the Tombolo Talasso Resort the first Thalassotherapy Centre in Italy open all year long. A haven of wellness in one of the most enchanting area of the Tuscan coast. Sea water is pumped directly from the sea at 900 meters from the coast line into five pools inside a grotto. The restaurant, with its charming terrace overlooking the garden, is elegant and refined. The Chef concocts recipes from the local tradition and from the international cuisine.
