The Hotel

The Nun Assisi Relais & Spa Museum is an exclusive 5 star Relais that came about from the careful restoration of the ancient monastery of Saint Catherine, which was originally constructed in 1275 for a community of Benedictine nuns. Its 18 suites are situated a short distance from the center of Saint Francis’ city in a quiet natural setting. Our love for history has ensured that this ancient place has preserved the details of the medieval monastery, designed along the lines of Benedictine rules calling for a “human city” for individuals. Each ample room is unique, with niches, frescoes, cross-vaulted ceilings and yet with all the modern comforts of technology which pleasantly surround the body and the mind with simple elegant formality in complete harmony with the spiritual nature of the ancient stones. Nun is timeless tranquility, a place in which to rediscover one’s inner harmony. The atmosphere is unique and reflects the allure of one of the world’s most beautiful cities while offering a cuisine rich in flavour, colour and aroma.

The Relais Nun is located in the spiritual heart of Assisi, in the highest part of the historical centre with magnificent views of the both the Rocca Maggiore and Minore on the soft contours of Mount Subasio.
