The Hotel

The NH Collection Madrid Colón enjoys one of the best locations in Madrid, in the heart of the well-heeled Salamanca district. Its footsteps from the high-end shops and restaurants along the ‘Golden Mile’ and the city’s best museums and galleries are within easy walking distance, too. The elegant 1950s building is the work of renowned Spanish architect Luis Gutiérrez Soto and is also home to Platea, Madrid’s new Michelin-starred gastronomic space. The 146 rooms are spacious and comfortable, with classic décor and sleek hardwood floors. The hotel’s newly renovated Bar Colón offers assorted tapas, snacks, and informal meals daily. At the 99 Sushi Bar, with a direct entrance from the hotel, you can watch the chefs prepare classic and contemporary Japanese dishes while you wait.
