The Hotel

The Relais & Chateaux Il Falconiere is a charming house found in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. The Baracchi family’s love for the land, rich history, food and wine, and ancient traditions are the inspiration behind the great dream of transforming the ancient Villa of the 17th century, once home to the famous poet Antonio Guadagnoli, into a jewel of hospitality. In 1988, the first chapter began with the careful restoration of a self-sufficient farm at the foothills of Cortona. Today, 30 years after its inauguration, Il Falconiere, along with a Michelin star restaurant, a wine resort and exclusive Spa is a small world of charm suspended in time. The relais & chateaux is an oasis of peace and tranquility in which guests can rediscover the pleasure of feeling at home and breathe in the essence of the most authentic Tuscany.

The Relais & Chateaux Il Falconiere is a charming house found at the foot of the hill where the Etruscan Cortona arises; between olive groves and vineyards in the heart of the most authentic Tuscany. It is in a privileged location between Tuscany and Umbria, allowing guests to enjoy the best of both regions.
