The Hotel

Hospes Infante Sagres Porto, a historic luxury hotel located in the heart of Porto’s old town (a UNESCO World Heritage site), is within walking distance of all the city’s main historic attractions, restaurants, and shops. Since its opening in 1951 as Porto’s first 5-star hotel, it has been a symbol of elegance, favoured by celebrities and discerning travellers alike. Seamlessly blending old-world charm with modern comforts, the hotel became part of the prestigious Hospes Hotel Group in 2023, a leader in luxury boutique hospitality. After extensive refurbishments to its façade, lobby, and guest rooms, Hospes Infante Sagres reopened in June 2023 with a refreshed look. Its 85 rooms and suites, including a Royal Suite, are individually designed with calming tones and luxurious furnishings. Inspired by the epic poem The Lusiads, these rooms reflect Portugal’s rich heritage, offering guests a refined experience that combines timeless elegance with contemporary luxury.
