The Hotel

Relais della Rovere was built by the Benedictine monks in the 1100’s and later became the residence of the Cardinal Della Rovere in the 15th century. The Relais offers 30 rooms located between the Villa, the Farmhouse and the Benedictine Convent. In the Villa, luxury and riches of Tuscany are certainly evident throughout the rooms, decorated in pink marble, precious tapestries, antique prints with typical beamed ceilings. The Farmhouse rooms are decorated with the original drapes blend perfectly with the terracotta floors and beamed ceilings whilst the furnishings are original ‘800 Tuscan antiques. The Benedictine Convent, with the restoration maintains the original atmosphere and ambiance. The furniture in this building has been custom-made with a somewhat more modern and essential flavor which in the context of the open ceiling beams and parquet flooring, renders the ambient warm and welcoming. An extensive park surrounds the entire facility and features a large swimming pool where guests can relax, enjoying the charming view of Colle Val d’Elsa, the Town of Crystal.
