The Hotel

Here, in Santiago do Cacém, we pay tribute to the Alentejo of tasty traditions, from the most deeply-rooted to the most contemporary. After all, we are like a gigantic kitchen: a kitchen with accommodation, where you create among friends, where you tell stories with a glass of wine in one hand and a recipe to share with someone in the other. We are always happy to teach you everything we know, but we are just as keen to learn from our visitors. We all give a little bit of ourselves; so, rather than offering just another hotel stay, we give you the most genuine of culinary experiences. To do so, we rely on Chef Luís Batalha and his team’s many years of experience and dedication to Alentejo cuisine, from the art of bread-making to traditional sweets and desserts.
